  ABOUT US / NETEDU / OBJECTIVE 
The Ethnography in Education Center - NEtEdu - has as main objective to be a center of studies and ethnographic projects in Education. Thus, it is intended that NetEdu rescues, collects, systematizes and disseminates research using ethnographic research approach in its various dimensions epistemological-theoretical and methodological as: participant observation, interviews, narratives, observation of everyday action, stories of life and others. The NEtEdu is committed to the concept of educational ethnography in size from bottom-up. Through ethnographic studies of the resources the problems contemporary socio-educational from the point of view of ordinary people and social groups little or not usually investigated.

The NetEdu has still as objective to support and encourage research in the ethnographic nature of education; disseminate the research promoting the exchange of these studies and results of investigations; systematize and catalog searches performed from the perspective of ethnography for educational researchers in the country and abroad, emphasizing the period from the 90s, to promote, to encourage and to publish groups works of the involved research. Its goal is to stimulate the exchange of knowledge and share the results of research and ideas developed in Brazil and abroad from the Ethnography approach.
